Good camera, needs larger memory card This is NOT a techno review. My son is in college and we bought him one. He likes it and it takes great pictures. He says it is a bit bulky, but does the job well. This one is a bit too large to fit comfortably in a pants pocket. We are happy as he is able to send pictures home to us online. The 32 meg SD memory card that comes with it is way to small and you need to buy at least a one gig memory card extra when you buy the camera. As cheap as memory cards are, canon should have added it as a standard accessory.
Great camera at a very reasonable price! This camera is worth to buy. very good quality. good features and the IS is a plus!
Lens Error This camera worked really great, but unfortunately only worked for 1-1/2 weeks. If you drop it even a few inches with the lens open, it will break. My wife was holding it, and it slipped out of her hand while sitting at the dinner table. Even falling 5-6 inches was enough to make the lens jam.
If you have ever dropped a phone, remote, or camera, this is not for you. I would only recommend it for someone that is naturally carefull. Paid $210 for camera on Amazon, and repair would cost $135 for a new lens. Now I plan to sell it on Ebay for parts, and look for a different camera.
totally worth the money! This camera works wonderfully. I recently went on a nature walk and was able to photograph lots of plants and flowers...vibrant color and amazingly easy to use! definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking for a light weigh quality camera to take on long walks or just to capture special memories.
Great Camera This has been a great camera. The pictures are great and it is very easy to use. The battery is rechargeable and seems to last a lot longer than the rechargeables you put in yourself. There are a lot of interesting features I hope to learn to use.
