Please make more of these The twins (age 4) LOVE these little firemen. They spend many hours making up stories about them and manipulating them. Great fun. I love the fact that their names are on the bottom of their feet. One caution: be careful of tiny parts if there are younger children around.
Hometown Heros Safety Squad Firefighters I gave this to my grandson for Christmas. He is 3 1/2 years old. He loves it. It is a very durable play set. If there is any drawback it would be the small pieces that go with each fireman and his uniform. I imagine they will be quickly mis placed. HOwever, by no means should this deter anyone from purchasing this toy unless you have a very small child who should not have small items. The figures are large enough for little hands to handle easily. I would definately recommend this toy.
Fireman Heroes Our 4yr old grandson has been fascinated with what happens when building burn and how firefighters come to the rescue. For Christmas we did a fireman theme. What fun he has playing with this toys, reenacting his own rescues. His firemen have names and make his rescue more realistic. This Hometown Heroes are quality and we will be buying the other sets available. (Note: we did remove the small embellishments as there is a year old brother.
Hooray! Great Men for Little Hands Santa brought these to our little guy this x-mas, and as usual Santa picked good ones! Our son is currently 19 months so we took away the little pieces the firefighters are holding, but kept the hats. Our boy likes to take their hats on and off and put them in and out of his huge (& equally fabulous) electronic Tonka hook & ladder truck.
These figures bend, their shoes are permanently on, their clothes are sewn on, and the paint they used for their faces and bodies holds up extremely well to a still teething toddler.
We like them so much, we are hoping Santa brings more next year!
