Not my pick on a good pilates workout I would not recommend this to a beginner or anyone else...unless you have done pilates and know the exact form.
The Rapid Results Pilates video is comprised of 5 sections:
1. Super toned buns and thighs 2. Arms and shoulder shaper 3. Waist slimmer 4. Total body blast 5. Slim and sleek stretch
Seeming like an aerobics video performed horizontally on a mat, there was no talk of pilates principles or breathing. A few exercises were too advanced to not include instruction on alignment - which could result in injury for the newcomer.
The second section uses light weights which gives an extra challenge. However, I would never recommend anyone watch a pilates video which utilizes weights but forgoes pilates principles about alignment. Not only will the viewers not gain all that they can out of their workout, but it is dangerous.
In sum: not recommended.

Not as good as Lara Hudson's 10 Minutes Solution Pilates I liked Lara Hudson's previous DVD, 10 Minutes Solution Pilates. I lost weight and built physical strength following her Pilates techniques for the last 3 years, so I decided to buy the new DVD, 10 Minutes Rapid Results. I was very disappointed with the new DVD. It's not nearly as good as the old one. It's too easy and boring. I don't think it's challenging enough even for a beginner. I've recommended and bought Lara's other DVD to friends, but I don't recommend this one at all.
not for beginners I purchase this video to get started with an at home exercise routine. I want something that I can fit into my busy day and the title sold me. In fact their are a four different workouts on this dvd. You can do them all or create your workout. I couldn't do most of the moves. I tried to keep up without stopping, but I'm not that flexible. I still gave it a high score. The parts of the video I completed I felt really good about and I felt the burn in my abs, butt, and arms.
good starting workout it is a good product if you are just starting out and need motivation to workout.
Superb I love this video - super easy to use and it never get boring to work out to considering there are 5 different sections you can choose from.
