Spring-action vise, pull-out storage bin, woodgrain-look legs and copy and bottom shelves create the perfect workshop. 5 out of 5 starsGood quality and fun!
This is the best quality toolbench available for children. It's made by Step 2 and very sturdy. My 3 yr old daughter (yes, that's right - daughter) received this for her birthday. She loves tools and has a blast with this bench. It comes with a drill that you can use to screw and unscrew bolts. It also comes with a drill attachment to pretend drilling holes. The vise is easy to use. The wood pieces are made out of foam, but until you actually touch and look at them close, you wouldn't be able to tell. The toy comes with a "manual" that shows how to create various projects (birdhouse, cars, tool box, etc). And your child can use their imagination to put their own items together. It is one of the best gifts she received for her birthday. Highly recommended!

5 out of 5 starsYou'll love it!
We got this for my son's 2nd birthday. It had great reviews. All of his older friends have loved playing with it. My son loves the drill and all the different bits and the fact that it drills in and out. He hasn't experimented much with the wood parts yet, but we will. It will be a great toy for years and years.

5 out of 5 starsReal Projects Workshop
We bought this workshop for our 3 year old grandson's birthday. He loved it. There are so many different projects and activities. Great toy.

5 out of 5 starsStep 2 Workshop
I bought this for my grandson's third birthday. He absolutely LOVES it!! He plays with it constantly. One reason that I chose this workbench is that it has real projects. Much to my surprise he does not even need the real projects yet but is happy to play with the tools and the nuts and bolts in his own imaginative way. There are several projects included with the workbench so you don't necessarily need the extra projects kit. I did buy the kit also since it was available. I was afraid that it might be hard to find later. I will save the kits until he is older as they are more complex. I am sure he will continue to enjoy this for at least 5 years. I would have liked to have seen a wrench or pliers included and a stand alone screw driver. There is a screw driver bit for the drill -- maybe I just need to get more in touch with the current world of tools

5 out of 5 starsMy 20-month old grandson's favorite Christmas gift
My 20-month old grandson's favorite Christmas gift. The whole family was playing with the workbench and we all were entertained.
