by far one of the best ^ I loved the first lego star wars game. And this one is just as good. Highly replayable, and funny. buy it if you like any of the other lego games (Indiana Jones or batman.)
Great game for kids ^ This is a great game for kids. I have a 4 years old son and he loves. I like that fact that when charters get shot, it's only the Lego pieces that fall apart. There are some humorous situations like Storm Troopers in the hot tub. The game is well made. The game is fun for both dad and son. I try to limit the playing time to 30 minutes. Of course my son want play more but I use it as a motivational tool to get him to do his chores.
great video game for my son ^ We bought this for my son's 6th birthday. It was the first video game we have bought for him. It is perfect for his age. It is challenging, but not impossible. Because the characters are lego figures, it minimizes the violence and doesn't feel "real" in any way. He would give it 5 stars. He loves it and would play it all day if I let him. I gave it 4 stars because it is still a video game (which I am not fond of) and not necessarily educational and keeps him inside glued to the TV instead of outside playing.
PC Lego StarWars 2 ^ I purchase this game on the PC because I prefer to use a mouse and keyboard interface. I found the experance very frustrating trying to move around or do anything in the game, very litte instuction in the manual and the choice of buttons you can use in the change options did not help at all. I purchased a gamepad and tried again and it was even worse. There appears to be no way to change your point of view and you wind up having to move toward the camera without seeing where you are going. I gave up and uninstalled the game. Waste of money but at least it was only a $20 lesson never to buy these types of games on the pc.
fun ^ This is a very fun game but as far as the movie lego games go it is harder than Indiana Jones and Batman. It is harder to make the coins to buy the extras and the characters but I enjoyed playing the game and opening up the levels for my 7year old to play the game. But Indiana Jones is my favorite and I hope they will keep making more movie lego games.
