5 out of 5 starsA Memorable Adventure
Final Fantasy is the series I will forever play. No matter what the flaws. No matter what the critics say.
The reason why Final Fantasy is the most popular role playing game is very obvious here. This game has the "justification" of the millions of copies sold from Final Fantasy.
This game is no less than the latter, nor the one before that. In fact it might be the most playable.
The game play is well designed to be as modern as games are right now. No more random battles, and cut scenes as if watching a great TV show with superb acting (though I prefer the silent RPGs more).
I admit I didn't finish it to the end, but I played a very memorable 70 hours. Time of which I never regret spending, an experience worthy of it.
The immersive atmosphere and the well bonded music, as if the notes built the worlds.
Though a lot of people were surprisingly disappointed with this huge project, I was not.
Make no mistake, Final Fantasy XII is a game that should not be missed no matter who you are. I have no doubt this game is better than a lot of next gen games out there. And this would be the perfect start if you have never played an RPG ( or any game for that matter)

1 out of 5 starsIs Final Fantasy coming to a end ???
When I saw the commercial for FF XII the first thing I did was go to the store and paid 50 BUCKS for the game. I pop it in and began to watch the beginig movie...it was beautiful great graphics and what not. Then i had control of Vaan I played about 20 hours of the game befor i ran to the store for a refund.

The story is so boring and so long I mean I hear that the storyline is over 90 HOURS LONG!!!!!!!!!!!! normaly I would not have a promblem with that except not only is the story long and boring but every thing you do in this game is something like this town, dugueon, town, dugueon, dugueon, dugueon, town and no story in between.

I mean what is happening to Final Fantasy what is happening to the RPG series I grew up with... and i think i know whats happening to final fantasy. When Square Soft made the movie -FF the spirits with in- the movie flopped so bad that Square Soft had no choice but to join with Enix or Square Soft would have died. now Square Soft (now Known as Square Enix)
kicked out all of the orginal workers of Square Soft such as (nobuo uematsu the music producer of ff 1-10) and (hirnobu sakaguichi the producer of FF ). now Square Enix is milking the FF name and been destroying the FF name ever since they took over.

Is Final Fantasy coming to a end????? to tell you the truth i think so... my only hope now is if Mist Walkers (a new company formed by the people who were kicked out by Square Enix) can demonate Square Enix befor Square enix can slander the FF name anymore.

This is more of a warning than a review stay away from Final fantasy 12 you wont be sorry...

5 out of 5 starsLong, Amazing, Final Fantasy
For many of us, we here at Lunar Assignment were sad when we heard that the new Final Fantasy was going to exclude the normal FF style of combat, however we were greatly surprised at how good it was.
4/5 Combat-Setting Gambits for allies, with high and low priority choices met a new quality to the game. Real Time combat, the ability to move freely the License System, and Mist Abilities each added a new and greatly admired flare to each battle.
5/5 Voice Overs-Consistent Voice Actors and expressions made us feel as if we were in the game, the characters themselves were vary distinguishable and did not seem like clones of each other or characters from other various games.
4/5 Story Line-The story was pretty straight forward, as to be expected from a Final Fantasy, however the supposed main character, Vaan, seemed as if he was sitting back and going along for the ride, as opposed to having a huge impact on the story itself.
5/5 Music-The music matched each battle, and scene very well. The new and 'improved' Final Fantasy victory music set a nice flash back to the older versions, though it was used a lot less then normal, which made it even more special.
5/5 Cut-Scenes-The highly done cut-scenes left us in aw, and each of us here at Lunar Assignment were amazed at the detail and amazing shine or dark glow of each one. The medium cut-scenes were also well done, though not as aw inspiring.
4.5/5 Land Detail-Most of each land zone you enter are very well detailed and look absolutely amazing, however once you reach the wastes it becomes obvious almost instantly that the designers did not spend as much time on this land zone, as well as others. The rocks seemed very very fake when compared to the other zones.
Overall-Final Fantasy XII is a must have for any RPG or Final Fantasy fan, the surprises, laughably cliche twists (There is only one or two, don't worry.), hunts, awards, and the beastery. As well as the realistic personal views of both citizens and guards around town are all all pull you deeper and deeper into the game, increasing its replay ability.

5 out of 5 starsVery Good
Very fun. Even though Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 where both good, Final Fantasy XII is more like a regular Final Fantasy game.

5 out of 5 starsit's final fantasy
this game doesn't need a review, anyone who has played a final fantasy game knows that are of the best rpg's ever made
