Great set of stacking cups We got this toy when our son was a year old - he's three now and still plays with it!
Most other stacking toys we've seen only have 5-6 items at most to stack. This set has 10 stacking cups, plus the bucket can also be used as the bottom of the stack. At first our son just loved to have us build towers for him to knock down. Then he enjoyed figuring out how to nest the cups into each other. Finally he mastered building the entire tower himself, when the finished tower was even taller than he was!
Smaller than I expected These were much smaller than I expected them to be. The largest one (with the handle) is only 5 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. And they are a bit hard to stack. But the kids are having fun with them.
Stacking blocks with bucket This toy was for my grandson when he visited in Aug '08. He was 14 mos old. At first, when all the buckets were inside each other, he ignored it and when to a similar building toy. When I showed he how he could stack the buckets end on end and be taller than himself, interest peaked. He knocked then down and with help built them up and knocked them down several times with much delight. The bucket he carried around with him all day. It is a strong toy with many different possibilities of play. I hope you continue to carry this product in the future.
Son loves it! My 9 month old has been playing with these stackers for about 2 months now and he loves them. He especially loves it when I stack them all up and he knocks them down. Sometimes he has trouble waiting for me to get them stacked up, he gets so excited! He also likes to roll the buckets around on the floor and put things in them. Good toy that will last through many stages!
The tower falls over too easily When a child stacks those buckets and touches the tower even lightly, everything tumbles over - they don't stack or stick together well enough in my view.
