Not for seniors I wanted a simple 'puzzle' handheld game that didn't involve rapid finger and thumb movement because I'm simply too old for kid's games. This is a kid's game and nothing I read in advance prepared me for that. Apparently all the reviews are written by youngsters who love to wail at the keys before losing to a relentless clock. The game console (used) arrived in excellent condition but it was just a shell. NO included games, NO instructions. I ordered two games (Tetris, Mario Bros) which also came without instructions. Eventually I figured out what was needed but, again, not what I wanted. I've asked the kids selling Wii, PS2 & 3, etc., and none seemed to understand I wanted puzzle or adventure games - NOT action games requiring manual dexterity, so they didn't know what I should buy. I'm afraid the days of King's Quest and Liesure Suit Larry are gone forever, or at least anyone that knows about such things are nowhere to be found. Guess I'll go watch some TV...
Great game Game has been handed down from my 7yr old to my 5yr old and still gets a lot of play.
Came Boy Advane Blue My son got this for xmas this year and he loves it! He wanted a DS but I figured he was a little too young for one of those. This seems to hold his interest and is a great way to pass a long car ride!
Best Handheld System! Finally I got a Game Boy SP again! Previously I had a NES Classic edition but it got jacked by the workers who installed the wood flooring for my home a few years ago.
This Pearl Blue color(which I got) along with Pearl Pink and Graphite were the last model Nintendo made in 2006. Unlike previous colors/models, these later models have a different backlit system. You can't turn the backlit off, instead there is a super bright mode in addition to the regular bright mode. I'm very impressed with this new backlit feature, thanks Nintendo. It was impossible to find a new Game Boy SP, so I had to settle for a used one from Gamestop, I went to many Gamestops to find one that was in the best possible condition without scratches on the clear LCD cover, although many were in good condition but I wanted a GOOD one. The AC Adapter charger is upgraded as well, it's significantly smaller than previous version.
Overall if you want an awesome video game system or handheld get a Game Boy SP! It's portable so you can play at work, beach, book store, on the bed, in the bathroom, or wherever. Make sure you pick the latest color/model plus its battery is fresher too.
