There is, for example, no opening-credit sequence, so a newcomer to the series might never know just who is doing the dead-on Ellen DeGeneres imitation in the season 9 sketch "Letters to Lincoln." This collection includes some of MadTV's most inspired cross-parodies, including "Oprah: Jackass" and a pitch-perfect reality TV collision between The Osbournes, The Anna Nichole Show, Cops, and even a "Jay Walking" Jay Leno. I Love it If you like MadTv, you will LOVE this DVD. It got all the best parts, Stuart, Lorraine, all the faves and funniest sketches. Each making you laugh. I hope MadTV will make more DVD's like this, but will full seasons.
Total Disappointment I've been a fan since the first season and this "Best" DVD was a total disappointment. It had a few enjoyable sketches but came off as being the best of the worst. Seasons 8, 9 and 10 must have been real stinkers (though I don't remember them as such) 'cause I could count the laughs on one hand. This compliation may have been someone's favorite bits (for some strange twisted reason)but definitely not the best. Good thing is was only 10 bucks.
Best of MAD TV I have been in love with MAD TV since I was younger. I was very happy with this purchase as all episodes they compiled are hilarious. I wish they made more like this, or had all seasons on DVD. I def. recommend this to MAD TV viewers.
Funny Funny Funny! This is truly the best of Mad TV! The only flaw, I would have liked more out-takes. Otherwise very entertaining. Laugh till you cry funny!
good selection of sketches but not great I purchased this Mad TV DVD because I have been a big fan of the show for quite some time, especially of the characters Lorraine and Stewart. Although some of the sketches on this DVD are absolutely hilarious, I believe the selections could have been much better. I hate to say it, but I grew tired of watching the DVD after a little while, waiting and hoping that the next sketch would be funnier than the previous one. Having watched the TV show for a long time, I knew that there were many memorable episodes but unfortunately hardly any of them made it onto this DVD.
