Sons like it My son always wanted to play with a tape measure, but since they are sharp on the edges, it wasn't safe. I got this for him so that he would have his own. He likes it well, and it works fine. It is large, and you have to crank it to rewind the tape, which is not much like a real one. But he likes the toy, so for the price it was a good purchase.

Fun measuring tool for small hands My 2.5 yr old got this for Christmas. He was always trying to use Daddy's metal one, so this one is a great substitute. It is easy for small hands to use. He really enjoys it.
Hard to use for little hands I purchased this tape measure for my 2 year old. I was very disappointed! The only thing that is stopping me from returning it is the hassle of shipping it back. It is very difficult to turn the handle, I even had a hard time with it. Keep your money!
