NA P51D ^ This is one of the most detailed model aircraft I've ever owned. My purpose of ordering this aircraft was to repaint it as a "Red Tail" Tuskegee Airmen aircraft and it fit the bill.
Great aircraft for any collector ^ I bought this aircraft on an impulse while shopping for my newborn baby. This toy is verry durable and alot of fun to play with, yeah Im still a Toys R Us Kid
Excellent and accurate P-51D offering ^ The BBI P-51D "Killer" is excellent. By that I mean that the detail, paint scheme, overall accuracy, crisp paint demarcations, stencils in the proper areas/panels, and downright beauty of the P-51D itself, make this BBI airplane "kit" an excellent collector item and educational tool.
It seems that the aircraft which BBI produces are wonderful...I cannot speak for the Armor and Infantry offerings since airplanes are my passion, but if it comes from BBI, chances are it WILL be excellent.

WOW ^ Ever since I was little kid, the P-51 Mustang represented the ultimate in airplanes. This aircraft model is very well done and features many items the first one did not include. The pilot is highly detailed and the aircraft features weathering which only adds to the realism. The hamilton standard propeller is right on the mark in terms of the detail. The landing gear is very nicely done and so are the drop tanks. Hanging from my ceiling just on the six of a ME 109 it looks as if it is only moments from scoring another kill!. Overall, the realism is almost on a level unheard of in a item available at the toy store. Oh, it is very durable. Just be carefull of the antenae mast just aft of the canopy. Great deal for $40.00 dollars!!!.
