One of the best "WHAT IF?" With all the recent interest in WWII I can't understand why this movie hasn't been redone on DVD. It is the one scenario, in my mind that covers most of the questions. Someone HELP!!!
Great Movie One of the better what if? movies. By the end of it you are thinking this is what really happened to Patton. As far as I know the disappearence of the Nazi Gold is a mystery that was never solved. and I find it very strange that Patton was the only person injured in the accident that eventually claimed his life. I agree with the previous poster..Bring on the DVD.
Intrique of a Genuine Hero This film is a great portrait of an authentic hero of WWII. It is tragic that someone got away with killing one of the best generals we've ever had, not to mention get away with hoards of gold bullion. This is a riveting, bold, plausable, and moving story. Well worth seeing. Bring on a DVD version!! Better yet, re-investigate the crime.
