Wife loves game My wife plays this game so much that I can't play it because the the buttons are worn.
love the product but . . . The only problem is that the screen is hard to see in normal light. There is a back light which comes on in low light settings which is nice. I have resorted to tape over the light sensor so that the light stays on when I play the game. Perhaps an anti-glare screen may help. Other than that its a good game.
Beats Solitaire We gave this as Father's Day gifts to our sons and sons-in-law. They like the fact that it is possible to win this game. Radica's Solitaire drove them crazy because it was so hard to win. Free Cell, on the other hand, with a little ingenuity, can be won frequently. They like the fact that the game notifies you when you have reached an impasse. Additional pluses are the lighted background when in a dark room, and the fact that once you have reached a winning configuration, the remaining cards are stacked automatically for you. The game needs batteries, which are not included.
Freecell Handheld Game I needed a hand-held game to play in situations where I couldn't sleep and didn't want to deplete the battery on my phone. I'd had a surgery and did a lot of sitting around, recovering. I purchased this as an adult recreation, not a kid's toy. It is fun for me.
Big Screen FreeCell I purchased this as a Christmas present for a friend who is addicted to the PC version of FreeCell. He works shifts with periods of inactivity so I thought this would be ideal for him. His reports have been favourable. He enjoys it very much although he says it is more difficult to win on than the PC version (more challenging) but so far it has given him lots of hours of enjoyment.
The only downside was that as I live in the UK this product wasn't available for international shipment nor was it available on the Amazon UK site, I had to first ship to my daughter in Texas who then in turn had to ship it over to me. I am sure there are good reasons for this however inconvenient for international customers.
