Description: Ten years after the wasteful death of Kurt Cobain he remains the only true musical icon of the post punk age. This film traces the early life of Kurt from his childhood in small town Washington right up to his first taste of superstardom at the dawn of t
Third-rate analysis This DVD was pretty interesting, but Id only recommend it to the hardcore fan who cant get enough. There is no Nirvana music or footage since its an unauthorized look at his life. Its full of interviews of people from Kurt's youth, such as Dale crover, schoolmates,Tracy "About a girl" Marander, and Leland Cobain, his grandpa. Its the same old tale of divorce, drugs, alienation, and rock and roll.Pretty cool if youre interested in hearing obscure little facts, like Cobain getting high off of Edge shave gel.otherwise stay away.
this is in response to the rat bast*rd Nirvana was an awsome band and yes there is some more talent in that era and that is Nirvana (yea all three of them),Trent Renzor,Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell plus Black Flag,The Vaslines and the Pixies. they all have talent but dont say sh_t about nirvana fans (i mean real fans not people whos favorie son is smells like teen spirit) Anyway i admit eddie vedder is defiantly talented as is Renzor and Cornell but nirvana was a real band they didnt sell out all of the stuff out right now is Courtney Loves fault (being she has half the rights to Nirvana when really she should have nothing or at the most 25%) so "lion of Pearl Jam" dont post if your going to start (...)anyway realize that this (...) and i hate to say it that grunge is dead no one reconizes it anymore i hope a band like nirvana comes and brings it back.
