Product Description: Imagine a civilization of humans and dinosaurs, living together in a lush, green land. On one side are the predators who are using up the natural resources, wiping out everything and everyone that gets in their way. The other side is the ecovores who want to preserve the land, and they're willing to fight to make that happen. Will the predators succeed in destroying the land, causing their own extinction' Or will the ecovores stop the destruction and make the land a place where dinosaurs and humans can live together peacefully'
Pull the lever under Slasher's tail to make his claws move. Collect all the Imaginext Dinosaurs. Includes caveman figure.
Editorial Review: The Tyrannosaurus Rex generally gets a lot of credit for being the fiercest of all carnivorous predatory dinosaurs, but his cousin the Allosaurus could likely have given him a run for his money if they happened to exist at the same point in history. In this toy rendering, Slasher the Allosaurus is decked out in bright orange and black colors and is able to move his head, arms, legs, and tails. Unlike what any natural historian would teach you about the way dinosaurs actually lived, he also comes with a saddle in which a small angry looking caveman rides along. The Imaginext series imagines a pitched battle where carnivorous dinosaurs, assisted by angry cavemen, are the bad guys opposing the herbivorous dinosaurs, who are assisted by more docile cavemen. --Charlie Williams
Fun AND Educational... My son loves the Imaginext dino collection. He has almost all of them. They're durable, fun and educational.
My Son is HOOKED! The quality is fabulous ~ these are so durable!!! I feel they are reasonably priced too. They move via a lever or a button and even hold up to a nightly bath with my 4 yo. He finally has found a toy that he keeps playing with & playing with!
Slasher... My son (5) got "Razor" the T-Rex's for his birthday, and instantly loved it. Actually, he got two and exchanged one of them for "Slasher" the Allosaurus. They are great toys and are very durable, my 1 and 3 yr old sons also love them.
This is a great set, and is wonderful for kids who are interested in dinosaurs. However, I do have a problem with Imaginext's choice of Thunder the Brontosaurous as the name Brontosaurous is now known to be incorrect. It's confusing to try and teach children the correct names of each dinosaur, and then have a toy incorrectly named.
Imaginext Allosaurus Slasher the Allosaurus is colored like a tiger, because he is colored orange with dark stripes. He comes with a cave amn, a seat rest, a trilobite and a spear. Slasher is very durable. He has a triggerr under his tail that makes his claws move. I rate this toy thumbs way up!!!!!!
Very good but consider the TRex instead We got both the TRex and the Allosaurus. Our boy loves them both, but for the extra five bucks the TRex is about twice as big and it roars. So if you're only buying one, I'd go with TRex.
