Product and price can't be beat. I've looked around and found that these picks are durable and made well. Would recommend highly to amateur and pro. I do alot a detecting and these picks are easy to handle and do the job they are intended to do. Wear eye protection!

Yes, I suppose you can try and get a $5 hammer at your local hardware store to do the job, but I would rather have a heavy, nicely gripped, the "rolls royce" of rock picks, rock pick, than anything else.

Great quality & balance I built a long dry laid stone wall this summer. This Estwing hammer performed well is among my favorite hammers for stone... Just don't hit your hand with the chisel end... That hurts :-)
