Isn't worth buying. My main complaint is the double sided DVDs. So far the first ep doesn't work right. Around 32 mins in, it stops working. I usally try to put movies on my Zune Media player. So with this problem with the DVDs, it's not possible. From reading other reviews, other people are having this problem. So far the music edited isn't a huge thing for me, since I can't remember much about the show with the music. I do think the music editing was a very bad idea though. I hope in the future, they will release the seasons on one sided DVDs, and with the music included. I'd buy them in a heart beat.
Quantum Leap I got this as a gift for my husband. He enjoyed it immensely. Very pleased.
THE MUSIC!! Ladies and Gentlemen, take my advice... go to amazon.co.uk and order the British releases of these DVDs, if you have a player that will support them. They use the ORIGINAL music, not the stuff on the DVDs released in the U.S. Also, if you do the conversion, they cost the same if not less even with shipping. Please also do not order the British complete package, as you cannot play the final episode, according to several posters. Get each season separately. It adds up to about the same. I live in VA and it was only 12 GBP to ship all five seasons. Well worth it, if you want the series the way it was intended. My two cents...
Missing disk I purchased Season Two from Amazon for my son for Christmas. It has TWO copies of disk 3, no copy of disk 1. And I agree with the others who said the music was not original.
DO NOT PURCHASE Quantum Leap is probably the best show ever. HOWEVER, the DVDs are no good. DO NOT PURCHASE. It's not even worth it. The music is all wrong and the leaps at the end of every episode are all out of order. WAIT until Universal coughs up the bucks to do the set RIGHT!
