5 out of 5 starsTerminator 3 Redemption
I am an Avid Terminator Fan...I have NOT bought this game yet .. but I will right after I type this review.

Iv seen the Gameplay Video's and Graphics and Heck iv played it with my friend a bit. Let me tell all you nay-sayers WATCH THE TERMINATOR MOVIES.

In the Terminator Movies 35 Percent of the movie is Car Chases , Bike Rides , Car to Car or Car to Ground Target Combat , 40 Percent is is Dialogue and 25 percent is Hand to Hand or Guns Combat.

This game is true to the Terminator Franchise and is a good buy...thats why I am buying it. I have not bought any of the terminator games except for Dawn of Fate because lets face it other then Dawn of Fate and Redemption they dont hold a light to the movies or capture the spirit of the movies. THIS GAME DOES...Iv played it mind you I dont own it so I DO know what I am talking about.

So if you are a TRUE Terminator fan and want to play a True Terminator Game. This is the one for you...Now excuse me I gotta put in my Order.

3 out of 5 starsA throw back to the T2: Arcade game
This game may be one of the best Terminator games ever made. If you have any love for the Terminator franchise you would stop reading this review right now and go pick it up. What makes this game stand out is that you actually have Arnold as the Terminator. No puny sound alikes (although his voice changes a little during some levels). The stuff that makes the game really enjoyable is the atmosphere: fighting a war in a future apocalyptic LA, car chases through a grave yard, fighting the TX really makes you feel like you are in the movie. Speaking of the movie the intro level has huge part to do with the T3 flick, its worth that for the price alone if you are a Terminator fan like I am. The sound and visuals are all top notch, heck even the Terminator has battle damage(when the level starts , your T-850 doesnt have a scratch on him , but if you take a few critical hits you'll be able to see your Endo-skeleton. cool!) The down part of this game is that its tougher than a $3 dollar steak. Some levels will really test your patience(especially the last one, sheesh!). Another downside is no replay-abillity after you've completed the game. There is a co-op game featured on here too, but it only has 3 levels which can be tough to play. All in all though this game is a action/shooter on rails, with driving and chase levels/scenes just like in the movies. I think this game is the spiritual successor to the T2: the Arcade game, Arnold even uses some of his one liners from there in here, never gets old to hear him say "Excellent", "Terminated" or my new favorite: "Talk to the hand". If youre like me and need to get your Anti Skynet campaign on, this game will not dissapoint.

4 out of 5 starsTerminator 3: The Redemption
This game has great action and very real characters.
This was a GREAT purchase, my video playing sons love it!

3 out of 5 starsDecent but......
Once again, this game is another example of video game makers being negligent of the needs of busy adults. Checkpoints, checkpoints, checkpoints!!! I am sure that one can go on the internet and get the needed cheat codes, but where is the fun in that? Overall, the hardcore gamer that spends hours in front of his/her machine will adore this game, albeit, it is a bit linear. If you want a really great game that has both good vehicle combat and third person action, along with checkpoints! I would suggest Metal Arms: Glitch in the System.

3 out of 5 starsTerminator meets Grand Theft Auto
Who knew the Terminator liked to drive so much! If you don't enjoy driving and are looking for a solid 3rd person shooter, this game will really let you down.

The graphics are great, the sound is good, but I only gave it 3 stars because I thought I was getting a 3rd person shooter, not a driving game.

Personally, I thought I'd be ripping apart other Terminators, etc. but in the majority of the missions you are driving or hijacking another one of Skynets machines.

The game was fun, although sometimes frustrating as you have to restart the entire level if you die (no checkpoints). If you go into the game understanding it mostly about driving you wont be disappointed. If you want a 3rd person shooter, well, I guess we'll have to wait for Terminator 4...
