Amazon.com: Harry Nilsson wrote the entirely hummable songs (including the hit, "Me and My Arrow") for this charming, 1971 animation feature about a boy with a round head who is banished from the land of pointy-headed people. An allegory about nonconformism presented in a delightful way, this is a treat for everybody. Ringo Starr, the late Nilsson's old pal, narrates. --Tom Keogh
The Point "The Point" narrated by Ringo Starr has been a favorite of mine since I watched it with my Gandson in the 80's. It has a wonderful way of delivering a message of good will and tolerance for any age.
Believeable1 An excellent, and genuine story for both young and old. Very colorful and easy to follow from start to finish.
The Point this is about a town where everyone has a point on there head but one kid. He gets kicked out of the town because he doesn't have a point. He goes on to prove that everything has a point. Little kids will not get this, ages 9 and up should.
beautiful story I've been searching this film for 25 years with subtitles in Dutch. Sometimes I heard one of the beautiful songs on the radio and I started searching again. At last I found the film at Amazone's, unfortunately without subtitles. In my memory it was a beautiful film for children. It didn't disapointed me, it is still as beautiful as 25 years ago, so it may be called a classicer! The drawings and the music are fabulous. It is a story for children about discrimination to learn them not to be narrow minded. I think I have "a Point" here!
THE POINT Greatest animated movie for children to learn from. Teaches them that everyone can be different. Ringo Starr narrates beautifully. Purchased for my children on tape and years later purchased for grandson. EXCELLENT
