Mint condition I love Amazon.com, I always receive my products in mint condition! I trust you guys 100%!
If Harry & Sally were sleepless This movie disappointed me a lot. It's like Ephron tried to make something as good as her earlier 'When Harry met Sally', but unfortunately this movie never reaches it to that level. Partly I believe, this is due to weak acting of Meg Ryan who just can't seem to build up the chemistry as there were between her and Billy Crystal in the above mentioned film. What I did like, was the character of Jonah. Tom Hanks is a great actor, and in this movie the interaction between him and the but small Ross Malinger (Jonah) is great. This definitely carries this movie to an acceptable standard. Maybe if I hadn't seen Ephron's When Harry met Sally, which was, I emphasize, much better, I would've given it some higher, but alas.
Great value...Super service My sweetheart and I recently re-united after a 50-year absence. Since we're both fans of the film "Sleepless In Seattle" I bought the DVD for us to watch during her visit. The price was right, and the delivery time was quick. A very satisfying experience....thank you!

If nothing else, it grows on you, and that's enough for me Yes, I am giving this a five-star rating. Which is odd because in my earlier years I thought this was the silliest movie ever made. And I'm sure plenty of people still feel that way, all due respect to them. After all, I felt the same way.
And yet, after multiple viewings of this movie, the strangest and scariest thing began to happen: I began to like it. I began to develop a taste for the oddly cute little story, its hilarious array of characters, the complete sense of fate, the references to an old movie that shall not be named.
And I began to see what I bet plenty of fans saw in the beginning: It's a great movie! It's well-made, well-filmed, well-acted, and it's a charming little story that deserves to be told.
That's your problem. You don't want to be in love, you wanna be in love in a movie.
"Look, it just doesn't happen twice."
Sam Baldwin(Tom Hanks) is a widower with only his son Jonah(Ross Malinger) to keep him from losing it all completely. Wanting his father to find love and be happy again Jonah calls a talk radio station hoping the "doctor" can help Sam find a new woman to love. Although he's upset and unready Sam agrees at least to talk; after-all it is Jonah's christmas wish.
Meanwhile Annie Reed(Meg Ryan) is engaged to Walter(Bill Pullman) he's a fine man; nice, reliable and she should be ecstatically happy, only there's no magic. On to road to meeting Walter's family she hears 'Sleepless in Seattle' on a talk radio show, listening to this man tell stories of how much he loved his past wife, and she is touched. (along with every other single woman in earshot)
Is there such a thing as magic that can bring two people together who have never seen each other, but may be the perfect match.
Sleepless in Seattle is one of the greatest romantic comedies of all time. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan are the perfect on-screen pair and this film is a pure romance gem.
I can watch it over, and over, and over and it's still as brilliant as it was the very first time.
