Greatest Kirby Game Ever! This game is not only addicting like any Kirby game, but this game takes MUCH longer to play. This is probably the best one because of the depthness of the game. Nintendo and HAL Labs did a GREAT job on creating everything that no one can notice so well. Not only that, but there are more options of what to do then most. Other than the fact that this game is missing story all together (not that the story of ANY Kirby is that great other than Canvas Curse), its got all the Kirby everyone wants! It IS fast paced, but even little ones and older ones can enjoy it once they get past that. It is almost difficult to beat. The checklist of random things to do is pretty hard to totally check off. Some are trying to get a best time on racing, others are just having you destroy one machine while on another machine. The graphics are amazing for a GCN game. Enough said on that. One thing that puzzles me is the genre of this game. It's a racing game. Sure, but that's hardly ANYTHING!! It's more of the genre of, well, Kirby! No other way to explain it! There is a mode on this game that gives the harder core gamers what they want. City Trial. This requires you to-within in the time limit-get as many power ups as you can before the stadium event to come afterwords. This is random. Could be anything from a race, to an all out battle with your opponents! This is a game that should be on every gamers shelf. The greatness of Kirby, plus something else that has never been there before (I don't know what) makes this the GREATEST Kirby game that has been created to date! Kirby this game is very fun! When I first played it I thought it would be dumb but its a really cool game!!! It is hard to get use to the controls but after you play a while you will get use to them. If I was trying to get someone to try a game with Kirby in it I would tell them about this one.
Kirby in race form I dont exactly like the airide part of this game, but I really enjoy the city trial part where you have a time limit and have to collect powerups in minigames. It is quite an addictive game, butthey could have had more in it. The graphics are abstract almost like Thw legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and the controls are really easy, all you use is A and the control stick. This is a really fun game for people who like racing games.
Add this game to your collection...but only if you have friends We get another game from the makers of the best game ever, Super Smash Bros. Melee. There are three modes to Kirby Air Ride: Air Ride(a classic race), Top Ride(a top-down race that's kind of like a minigame), and City Trial(by far the best of the three). City Trial is all about getting powerups for your star in a city until time runs out, then you play a minigame to determine who wins the game. You can also play the city map and minigames seperately. You'll find yourself playing this one mode over and over and over... Anyway, you should this game if you have a Gamecube. It's cheap, and it's fun.
Good And Bad But More Good Kirby Air ride. This game is awesome!! But the only thing bad about it is there is only 1 place to be at in free mode. There should be 2 or maybe 4 to pick that place to go to it then just one. But, its still the best game I know of so if you like Kirby than get this game. Flying is hard unless you get the Purple Falcon it flies high in the sky. Or when you beat part of the game then play as the Dragon it's the best flying machine IN THE GAME!!
