It is supplied with an adapter and a special spring hook, which makes attaching and detaching the strap from the tripod easy. The 3044 features a double-fixing system whereby the hook attaches to the tripod spider and loops around legs.
Bogen Tripod Strap Nice tripod carrying strap. I bought it for my Bogen 3001 tripod, perfect length for carrying over shoulder. Looped end slips off and on easily to be ready to shoot. Has a nonslip surface also.
Definately good quality but don't really need it Bogen is definately a highly recommended brand. I got the carrying strap expecting it to make my life muc easier. In the end I prefer to just cary the tripod in my hand instead of hanging another object over your shoulder. The strap has a rubber inside which prevents the strap from slipping off your shoulder. Very nice feature. Again it's just my preferance to cary the tripod instead.
