loved it I work for a video resale company and came across this video while at work. I was able to borrow it for a night to watch. My husband, who is a high school girls basketball coach, loved the movie. The theme is wholesome and there is minimal profanity. The message is a good one... use your gifts. Some might think that this video is hokey but it has a deeper meaning to it and it is definately worthwhile.
Great movie! Man, when I first saw this movie I saw so excited! This is a great story!Great movie with great actors and with great soundtracks! If you love basketball, then you gotta love this movie! Check it out!!!
Great movie with a good message This movie has a good moral message about being yourself and loving yourself despite how others may feel about you. Dempsey Pappion and Gregory Hines work brilliantly together, hopefully this will not be the last time I will see Dempsey Pappion in a movie. I thought his acting was very good, also, I will miss the talents of Gregory Hines who is no longer in the present. But this is a movie that shows how talent Gregory was in front of the camera and behind the scenes directing, you will be missed!................peace!
Red Sneakers Review This movie is SO BAD, but you'll keep on watching, waiting for the punchline. It goes beyond bad into the realm of ridiculous. I just watched it, and I still can't figure out what the producer or director was thinking. Apparently, this wasn't a spoof, but someone was trying to make a real movie. Actually, the only reason I am writing this review is because after watching it, I had to come straight to the internet to see if there was a fan site for it, kind of like Plan-9 From Outer Space. I could write a book on how bad this is, but just watch it for yourself, you won't be disappointed. Watch it if for no other reason than the main character looks EXACTLY like Tiger Woods. I give it 5 stars- if it doesn't make you fall to your knees laughing, you don't have a sense of humor.
Great movie for kids who love sportsl!! My son saw this movie at school-age care and loved it. I ordered a copy and was quite pleased with the storyline. I would encourage all parents who have kids in sports to rent or buy this movie. It teaches a very valuable lesson about using your god-given talent.
