5 Stars for Worst Comes To Worst by Dilated Peoples These guys are on it. Rakaa's voice, aka Iriscience, is smooth as silk. Evidence is evidence of how good these guys really are and were from the very beginning. The lyrics are tight, based on principles of sticking with people. The beat is on point. I'm still dancing cause DJ Babu is Babu at his best. Thumbs up to Dilated Peoples. A must have.
Quality made hip-hop. Dilated Peoples have, through the years, proved themselves to be one if not the most original and well produced hip-hop group for decades. With their new single `Worst Comes To Worst', they're sure to be given credit from all people. The incredible sample taken from William Bell's `I Forgot To Be Your Lover', sticks in your head, making it impossible not to hum it after listening to it. The song is genius on its own, but the turntable skills from DJ Babu just show what quality made hip-hop should sound like. The rapping from Rakka Irisience and Evidence is just as pleasing, with imaginitive and clever lyrics.
