Amazon.com: Disney continues to "sequelize" its classic features. With smart foresight, the filmmakers choose to go with three snappy short films to comprise this 73-minute feature with the Fairy Godmother granting wishes to various characters. In the opening short, Cinderella must pursue life as queen. Several feathers are ruffled as she brings her down-home ways to the castle (bring the commoners in and open those darn curtains). In the other tales, one of Cinderella's animal pals receives a chance to see the world quite differently, and finally, Anastasia, Cinderella's formerly evil stepsister, finds love with a little help. As with the other sequels, the look of the film helps bridge the distance between the original and the sequel (here over 50 years) and it comes together seamlessly. Little ones from ages 4 to 9 should be entertained while purists may be a bit aghast. --Doug Thomas

great I really enjoyed it. Yes it is made for little kids. If you don't want to buy the video, then don't. Disney is created for kids. My daughter loves the Disney princess.
A failed TV series... There's a reason why this seems like 3 TV episodes... that's exactly what it is. When the TV Animation Division proposes a new series, they make three trial episodes to see how the idea will work (see Atlantis 2, Belle's Magical World, etc). When it's decided not to go ahead with the show, in order to recoup some of the cost of the episodes, they connect the three episodes together with some interstitial material and release it on VHS & DVD. Now you see why it never appeared on "Disney Afternoon" or "One Saturday Morning".
Cinderella II- Did the trick I bought this for my 5 year-old daughter as a Christmas present. It is now April, and she watches it all the time- still. A wonderful addition to any Disney video collection.
My kids love it!!! This is a great movie. It's hard for the orginal to have and equally good second or third movie after it but this one makes the grade for sure. My kids adore it.
Great movie for our 3 year old Our three year old daughter loved this movie. As other reviewers have said, it's really three movies mixed into one storybook that the mice decide to make for Cinderella. This works out really well for our daughter, who hates antagonists of any kind. She wouldn't watch the third portion of this movie because it featured the step mother, but the first two movies she really liked.
Other reviewers are correct that the movie really doesn't feature Cinderella much at all, and it's worth keeping in mind. But for our daughter she's just as happy to see Cinderella just a little bit and watch the mice or Anastasia.
