great fun from my son's perspective.. I purchased this toy because my son liked it when he played with it at a friend's birthday party. It is a lot of fun from his point of view. No real set-up, fancy rules, or parts to lose, so it is great from my point of view too! We made up our own rules, he who gets bitten first is the winner! I'm not too concerned about the 'educational value' - it is just silly fun...
Cute toy We found this at a thrift store for 50 cents. Needless to say it is worth what I paid. It keeps my under 5-yr-old crowd enthralled. My 16-month-old enjoys it the most, so I don't believe it's very scary. I played with it first and laughed at it closing down on my hand. Don't know if that cut out the scariness factor, or if my kids just weren't scared of this toy to begin with.
Crocodile Dentist review The toy is fun for the kids to play with an adult. The plastic is hard, but seem sturdy. We have extras, just in case the kids are too rough with it.
It's great when it works I specifically bought this toy because it was self contained with no parts to loose. It was to be taken on a trip to visit with my 5 year old grandson. What fun! We laughed and pushed the teeth down while taking turns. Well, after less than a day the only tooth that would cause the jaws to snap was the center tooth. Not too much fun there. I feel I wasted my money.
broken in days I bought this for my 3 yr old and at first, he thought it was the best game ever and laughed when the croc would chomp down on his fingers. Then, the top part of the mouth kept falling off and I had to keep putting it back on until it just completely broke and wasn't able to play it again. I think it lasted at tops for a full week in our house and that was it. So, definintely doesn't hold up well at all!
