Amazon.com essential video: A U.S. soldier is dead, and military lawyers Lieutenant Daniel Kaffee and Lieutenant Commander JoAnne Galloway want to know who killed him. "You want the truth?" snaps Colonel Jessup (Jack Nicholson). "You can't handle the truth!" Astonishingly, Jack Nicholson's legendary performance as a military tough guy in A Few Good Men really amounts to a glorified cameo: he's only in a few scenes. But they're killer scenes, and the film has much more to offer. Tom Cruise (Kaffee) shines as a lazy lawyer who rises to the occasion, and Demi Moore (Galloway) gives a command performance. Kevin Bacon, Kiefer Sutherland, J.T. Walsh, and Cuba Gooding Jr. (of Jerry Maguire fame) round out the superb cast. Director Rob Reiner poses important questions about the rights of the powerful and the responsibilities of those just following orders in this classic courtroom drama. --Alan Smithee

Can you handle the truth? Cracker(JACK) cast & script with Reiner at the top of his game Absorbing and crowd-pleasing adaptation of Aaron Sorkin's hit Broadway play from director Rob Reiner about two Marines charged with the murder of a fellow GI at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba with a tangled web of power and a green defense lawyer (excellently played by Cruise) assigned to follow the motions without a trial. Superb performances all around especially Nicholson in rare form as a colonel with one hell of a Napoleon complex. Trivial note: Bodison was a production assistant to Reiner from previous films; this is his acting debut.
DVD Movie Review Always a great story that would interest all ages--except for some salty language. Interesting to see the internal workings of the military minds.
Excellent Movie! I loved this movie when it first came out and it looks even better today. The acting by Jack Nicholson, Tom Cruise and even Demi Moore is excellent. Remember when Demi Moore was actually an excellent actress? The director Rob Reiner is at his best and everything comes together. Don't worry if you think you don't like war or military movies. This is one you'll love.
Super Movie This movie is a great movie. It also is such a good movie in the beginning of Tom Cruise and Demi Moore's careers. And of course Jack Nicholson ... he didn't have much of a part ... but what a part he played in this movie.
A FEW GOOD MEN (BLUE RAY) Very impressed with the quality of the blue ray movies. Highly impressed with the service and the delivery of my order. Keep it up.
