Description:
It's business as usual for the crew of the Angel Links as the continue their war against the Pirates in the Oracion star system. However, even the busy crew of the Angel Links needs some time off to have a social life. Kosei meets with a Pirate girl, but it's not what everyone thinks - or is it? And Meifon gets a mysterious invitation to hear "The Song of Mermaids." She's confident that she knows who her secret admirer is, but this date turns out differently than anyone could imagine! Based upon the Outlaw Star Universe by acclaimed manga artist Takehito Ito (Outlaw Star) From the creators of Gundam Wing and Gunbuster. "Now THIS is entertainment!" Animerica. DVD exclusive release.

Amazon.com:
As this inane sci-fi jiggle series continues, attention shifts briefly from Meifon Li, the billionaire owner of a space protection service, to her personal assistant Kosei Hida. Despite his effete appearance, Kosei is quite the lady's man, but an ill-starred romance with the pirate Jesia ends before it really gets started in "The Rain upon the Stars." The remaining two episodes deal with how Meifon inherited two things from her grandfather: a staggering fortune and a vendetta against pirates in general and the pirate Goryu in particular. That vendetta may bring her into conflict with her fabulously wealthy suitor, Lem Lau. The storytelling in these adventures is weak at best, with the tone vacillating between silly--a spaceship crew who want to end an adventure early so they'll be on time for their reservation at a posh restaurant--to the ineffectually dramatic: Meifon casually fires a super-weapon that wounds or kills scores of innocent people. However, the real focus of the series is Meifon's redoubtable figure. Every garment she owns features a plunging neckline, and Taffei, an alien cat-bat combination who turns into a sword when needed, resides in her cleavage. Rated 13 Up for nudity, sexual situations, and violence. --Charles Solomon

4 out of 5 starsMAJOR improvement over volume 1
After watching the first volume of Angel Links, I was not expecting much, but the show really picks up with the start of this volume. Gave me new hope for this series. If you have bought the first disc, and are on the fence about buying more, trust me, it gets much better.

3 out of 5 starsAngel Links is getting better
I reviewed Angel Links Vol. 1 Before and here is my review for vol. 2. I believe that the series is starting to get better as I watch each episode! The first episode deals more with Kosei who begins to fall for a pirate named Jesia who he meets after a battle. The next two episode deals with Mefion and more of her past. We learn more of her grandfather and how she came to be a pirate fighter. We also learn more about Lem Lou, but I will not go any further as I do not with to ruin it for anyone who does decide to buy, rent or borrow this dvd. I gave it 3 stars in this review, but I actually wish to give it 3 and 1/2 stars but the review system won't let me.

3 out of 5 starsMediocre, but perhaps a bit better than volume 1
This second disc (of 4) of Angel Links marks an improvement over the first. The focus of attention is happily less on the heroine's ridiculously large chest and more on what's going on around her. If you haven't seen the first volume (which is the proper place to start), Angel Links is the story of a pirate-hunting company run by 16-year old Meifon Li. This disc contains episodes 4, 5, and 6 of this show, which is a mediocre space adventure show.

Episode 4 is by far the best episode. It focuses on Kosei, the second in command, and reveals him as an accidental playboy, besieged by interested women. The next episode reveals the origins of Meifon's work upon the death of her grandfather. The last on this disc ventures into the mysterious past that's slowly being revealed about Meifon. The big improvement here is Kosei, who becomes a likeable character and elevates the show. That said, it's hard to really recommend Angel Links. It isn't notably bad in any way (although the English dub actress for Meifon was poorly cast), but it isn't especially good. I'm buying it because it is getting better and I like the genre.

One last content note: although nothing is really shown, on this one disc Meifon takes two showers on-screen for no apparent purpose. So beware if this offends you.

4 out of 5 starsNice Story, Nice FanService
Well, if you are looking for a heavey Drama and great plot movie, you won't find it.

However, if you want just fun and good looking girls ..., then you have just hit the jackpot.

Personally, I enjoyed the show, it was fun and realaxing.

Give it a try and you might enjoy it, I did.

At least we haven't see anyone choking anyone and saying "I am sick" yet.

1 out of 5 starsBAD BAD BAD BAD MOVIE Angel links volume 2
Good movie if you like kinky angels running around naked and sinning but otherwise WHERE'S THE F***ING PLOT! NO ACTUAL CHARACTER AND NO COOL FIGHT SCENES. Besides even when they are nued there still to kinky!
