Superb retro type! ^ Great game, but there are so many other ways to play this BESIDES on the super nes. I recommend that you play this on the psp, or the ps3. You can get it at the playstation store (online), or on the midway arcade treasures compilations.....

The best fighting game except for cheap AI ^ All the mortal Kombat games are awesome save 3 which sucks and it the cheapest of the bunch. The AI in these games is nothing but cheap, stupid and pointless. No matter how good you are at these games the AI is magically better. You can beat them to danger then they magically don't die and can trow you in your mid sweep or uppercut WTF!?!?!?!? The player cannot do that?? When you jump they knock you down, if you jump ten times they knock you down ten times and they punch you over and over till you die, they are nothing but cheap predictable losers, just like Midway if you played the MKvsDC trash.
Fighting game ^ This game caused allot of controversy in its heyday. I think it was unfairly judged. It was accused of being to bloody. But it comes with the option of turning off the blood and fatalities. And in the face of some games of today, this game would be considered rated 'G'. It teaches hand/eye coordination as well as brings hours of fun. You can play a single player game or 2 player game. Each charachter has many special moves that are their own. With so many character and so many moves to learn and master someone could play this game for many years and not get bored of it. This game is fun. I have no problem letting my kids play this game either. In fact it has become a regular in our house on family night. My husband and i both play it as well as our kids.

The ultimate Easter Egg has been found!!! ^ 1. Play with Sub-Zero
2. When you fight Raiden you must use only low punches, do not block, and get at least one Flawless Victory.
3. Fight Johny Cage anyway you like, but you must have a double Flawless Victory
4. When fighting Kitana, everytime you hit her,she must be frozen first. Do not hit her if she is not frozen.
5. Last one. When fighting Jax you must get a flawless victory using nothing but uppercuts.
When you have accomplished all this, you are ready for the easter egg. As the screen is scrolling up and you are ready to fight the last boss, hit 'start', then up, up, down, down, left, right, left.
If you have done everything right, Sindel will appear and FIGHT THE FINAL BOSS FOR YOU!!! After she defeats the final boss, your character will bow to her and she will command you to return with her to Edenrealm to be her servant. WHo would not want to be the slave of Sindel???? It is so kool to see Sindel's MKII version.
