Editorial Review: Fasten your safety belt: Binary Arts presents a card pack full of 40 new challenges for fans of their fast-paced Rush Hour traffic jam puzzle. In the original game, the player's goal was to maneuver a set of cars and trucks, restricted by the 6-inch-square playing grid, out of various traffic jam scenarios. The Rush Hour 2 deck provides all-new gridlock situations with equal numbers of intermediate, advanced, expert, and grand master challenges. "Intermediate" jams require 10 to 20 moves, but "expert" messes can take over 50. Each puzzle's solution is printed on the back of its setup card, making it handy for those who truly feel stuck. And just for fun, a new candy-apple-red convertible accompanies the deck. Note: you must already own the Rush Hour puzzle to use this pack. --Liane Thomas
mind puzzler I purchased this for my eight-year old neighbor. He went through the cards so quickly that I upgraded him to this Rush Hour 2 pack. It comes with a red car, like the adult version so I told him he was promoted. He was only able to get through the first card so it is definitely more challenging for him. His father plays with him so they are spending some good quality time together. He loves his Rush Hour and can easily transport it with him in the little carry bag. I highly recommend this to anyone aquainted with any child who likes puzzles or a challenge.
RH 2 A nice addition to the original Rush Hour game set. Keeps the challenge fresh and further enhances problem solving and frustration tolerance in older children.
Great Addition To A Great Game. Anybody who has played Rush Hour must know the nice feeling you get when you finally pass the 40th puzzle, and the bad feeling you get when you realize that it is over. Well Rush Hour has made three expansion packs of 40 new challenges each. Each will sharpen you concentration an logic skills.
Rush Hour Two comes with a Convertible Red Escape Car and 40 new challenges from Intermediate to Grand Master. Now Grand Master might sound scary but it's basically the same as Expert. The cool difference is that in some Challenges you have to clear Both escape cars to win. This is a wonderful addition to an already great game. Remember that you must own Rush Hour to use this expansion. A DEFINITE MUST BUY!
Extra Cards Go aheead and buy one or two extra packs of game cards for Rush Hour. You child (or you) will want them quickly.
Great brain teasing fun for all ages Rush Hour truly is a great brain teaser and after battling each other over who needs the smallest number of moves to solve each problem I think this is the toy that will remain way up in the list of favourites for a long time. It doesn't just have one solution to each problem which is also great because we all approach problems different. The game is really great fun for the whole family (maybe not for children under 10) and we even took it to a party where to my surprise everyone gathered around it and battled each other - it was being passed on all night.
