In praise of my Companion This MD case has been with me across oceans and through many ordeals. I recommend this to anyone who values loyalty in an audio accessory. When things look grim I can always take comfort in the fact that my MD carrier will have 24 MDs that I can listen to at my convenience. I bought it at a local chain, but the convenience of online shopping makes it available to anyone, anywhere. Try writing your name on it with a Sharpie... or maybe you can give it a name, like you would a dear pet. I call mine Schattenjager. If you buy this with something else, you may even be able to get free shipping! Take care and may the gods be with you.
MD Wallet I only use MD . In my car , home & portable player . It's frustrating that the biggest wallet is limited to 24 . I need larger , like 48 or 96 . I end up carrying 3-4 cases w/me . It's a hassle . I love the MD but ya have to go to japan to get what we need (unfortunately) > I can't understand why they aren't popular? their small , in a protective plastic case so ya never hold or touch the cd it's self. When are we gonna get what we can really use....
close but... It's okay but it could be much better. I'ts too bad there is so little MD stuff on the market that one just has to "settle" for whatever any manufacturer whips out. I have two of these but I definitely would not buy another. They scored points with the maximum portability factor that is priority number one to MD lovers but they really should also offer a "maxi" sized model that holds 1.5 or 2x this. I feel they should also have made the pages removeable from the binder. (Most MD fans love things well packaged and good product design is more important to us.) I like keeping my MDs in their cases to keep them clean but also to see the extra album notes on the case and that is not possible with these. And finally in my opinion the two sided opening into which to insert the discs is too small, it should have been marginally increased on the top edge. Why have such teeney hole to cram the discs into? They aren't going to fall out, the thing is zipped closed. It's not a horrible product, it's just frustrating that it's one of the only products, and it's close to being halfway decent.
Best Mini Disk Organizer I Ever Had!!! This by far is the Best Mini Disk Organizer I Ever Had!!!
Nice, but too small. This is the biggest MD case I could find, but of course it's way too small for any real collection. Why couldn't they also offer one of double thickness that holds 48? And perhaps add one row and one column to hold 9 discs per page instead of 4 -- that would make a case holding 108 minidiscs that would be about the size of my old 150 disc CD case.
Ah well... this is the best case that exists right now.
