A GREAT START TO YOUR BLONDIE ADVENTURE Supergroup BLONDIE burst on the scene just as I was winding up my college days and I wasn't nearly into the music scene then as I had been earlier in my life because I was starting to struggle for the legal tender so I was keeping clubbing to a minimum.
But you'd have had to live in a cave somewhere in the uncharted ocean to have not heard HEART OF GLASS, RAPTURE, OR CALL ME back in those heady days.
Anyway, like most people, I still had not learnt how to truly appreciate the fine wine that is music, in its various genres, and I consigned BLONDIE to the status, in my mind, of sort of a glamorized bubble gum power pop.
20-30 years slide on by....
But over the years, like the best of these fine wines that one's ears want to taste and taste over again, I found myself playing this CD among a very select few when I REALLY wanted to "rock out".
So I say to you, if somehow you are just now discovering BLONDIE, this CD will make a great start to your musical adventure. If you like the best in rock, pop, and theater, you are probably gonna want all four of the first albums by this New York supergroup!

Has most If you like Blonde then you will like this cd but it does not have all her hits on it.
I like a little of a lot of different kinds of music I enjoy several songs off this CD, but my favorites are (I Am Always Touched By Your) Presence, Dear, Dreaming, and Sunday Girl. I have also come to appreciate In The Flesh, and One Way or Another. I am even intrigued by Atomic, and amused by Tide Is High. I grew up on a mixture of 60s rock and 50s bluegrass and country and western, so maybe it is not so strange that I like this CD. There seems to be a little of this and that, and something for most tastes.
The Best of Blondie Music preview helped sell the product, fast delivery and condition just as described. Great doing business A++
