Nothing you haven't already seen. I was very disappointed in this book. I was expecting hundreds of images of models and props, and I didn't get it. Most (not all) of the images in this book can be easily found in other, and better better Star Wars reference books. Different book, same stuff.
I returned it.
Love the huge detailed pictures this book is a great reference title with huge detailed pictures and high quality binding. the descriptive text is always chock full of details a modeler can use.
An fine companion to Dressing A Galaxy I purchased this book as a companion piece to the previous "Galaxy" book, I had already flipped through an opened volume at my local bookstore and found not much different from either the "Making/Art of" books, or the more impressive "Chronicles" books. Although many of the photos are all too familiar. There is still enough material to fill the remaining pages. If you feel you must own this book my advice is avoid the $50.00 bookshelf price and use Amazon's list of dealers to find an more inexpensive copy.
Awesome Great book with very detailed pictures of minatures and sets used for the star wars films. Highly recommend!
Excellent insight into an amazing model shop. As someone who was heavily influenced by Star Wars as a kid, so much so that I know work in the visual effects industry, this book is amazing.
While I love CG, I grew up watching movies that had absolutely astounding model making, and looking at these creations in close up is worth the price of the book.
The only issue I really have is that the physical binding/stitching on my copy of the book wasn't great. After looking through it once or twice it was already looking a little ragged.
