Great companion to the show! I'm a huge BSG fan, but I was a little leary about a comic based on the show. I was PLEASANTLY surprised while reading this book, however, as it really added to my enjoyment of the whole milieu. The story is entertaining, the characters are authentic to the TV series, and I felt I knew more about the BSG universe after reading this. Without giving too much away, you encounter some 'different' cylons that shed some light on how humans and cylons were in the past, and that was quite cool.
Street Magik rocked my world! I knew I would like this graphic novel when I purchased it because it involved a few of my favorite things, namely magic, urban life, and shamanism, but I had no idea how much I was truly going to love this comic. It was exactly what I wanted, and I can't wait to tell my friends about it.
