Editorial Comments

Product Description:
Barely contained within this book is the high octane work of Paul Bonner, an intrepid artist able to vividly recall in paints his visits to Valhalla, the blasted future, and sundry haunted and ravaged stopping off points in between.

Here you will find over 150 of Paul's vibrant and compelling full colour paintings, along with numerous character studies and sketches, produced by the artist over the last twenty-five years for the biggest names in fantasy role playing, such as Games Workshop, Mutant Chronicles, Fasa, Riot Minds and Rackham.

So, saddle the dragon storm riders, suit up storm troopers, and prepare to have your worlds revealed anew!

5 out of 5 starsAmazing characters that reminded me of my Role Playing days
Paul Bonner is an incredible fantasy artist and displays a great expertise in creating gnarly, muscular monsters with savage looking faces, adorned with rows of vicious teeth or pokey fangs. Many of these images reminded me of miniatures and artwork for role playing games that I played a great deal as a kid. The images in this book are absolutely stunning and will have fans of mythological monsters, goblins and other fearsome creatures grinning from ear-to-ear on every page.

5 out of 5 starssomething from the woods
This is one of those special books, an inspiration and I think Paul Bonner has claimed his place next to Frazetta.
True depth and beauty of our imagination in each painting. It has beautiful full page prints and it takes you through his works.
A must for all art and fantasy lovers

5 out of 5 starsWonderful work
Amazing artwork, possibly the best artist working in the RPG market. Having seen his work in some Rackham productions, I was pleasantly surpised by his older work for Games Workshop, FASA and other companies.

5 out of 5 starsGorgeous Art book well worth the money!
As a long time fan of fantasy artists I was struck by the detailed art of Mr. Bonner. I was aware of his work from Warhammer and other gaming lines but this is a excellent showpiece of his ability to bring both whimsy and talent to a crowded genre.

5 out of 5 starsWorld of Wonder
This book is one of the best reference books I have. There is a lot of really insightful introspection about Paul Bonner's illustrations, which are absolutely breathtaking. This book is a great glimpse of Paul Bonner's imagination and world that is very inspiring, not just for other illustrators but for anyone with an imagination.
