1 out of 5 starsSuperman- the man of Plastic ^
This is a joke. We have come so far that Superman is beaten down by Wonder Woman. This is the story that caused me to quit reading the whole 'Infinite' series. 12 different parallel worlds, with 12 different Supermen? I wonder if all 12 Wonder Women can out do all 12 Supermen.
And where did this lack of purpose come from that renders the Man of Steel so ineffectual these days? You know, the refusal to take a single life to save even a thousand lives.
This is where we are as a nation now, I guess. You take a perfect example of moral character, of justice and the supreme will to carry it out, you weaken him until he is no better than any of the other super-heros, and then you blur his sense of right and wrong.
D.C. needs to get some men to write the Superman stories, not these emasculated clowns who continuously write these stories in which Superman goes down for the count and is saved by Batman.
I imagine that the writers at D.C. are intimidated by the thought of an invulnerable, nearly all powerful being, and therefore strive tirelessly to weaken the Man of Steel. I guess that should be expected from a group who feature satan as a protagonist in an ongoing storyline (sandman).
You will never cause me to believe that Superman is any less than he was in '69. Try as you might, you will never take that from my generation.

5 out of 5 starsinfinite changes ^
Sacrifice falls between Identity Crisis and Infinite Crises--the major storyline DC created that year. Superman is taken over by Max Lord and made to believe he is fighting his worst enemies, though that is not the case in reality. It's a story of what would happen if Superman lost control. And it changes things in the DC universe, especially Wonder Woman. And just where will it all go from here?

4 out of 5 starsWonder Woman vs. Superman ^
Two of the Big 3 throw down in this collection! Wonder Woman makes a life-changing decision that drives a wedge between the Big 3 (herself, Superman, and Batman) and leads directly into "Infinite Crisis." The multiple writers and artists here make for an uneven but enjoyable collection that every DC fan needs to read.

5 out of 5 starsGreat Superman Comic! ^
This comic was awesome to read and got it as a present and I have a lot of superman comics and all of them were great, but this one was better.I can't believe ruin was emil hamilton and I thought he was a friend to superman, but why would he betray superman. There's more to this than that and it took time to figure out who was ruin.Superman is the most powerful charcter that he can take down anyone. There's not much to say about this comic, but I assure you it is good and recommended.

5 out of 5 starsThis Goes Well with Infinite Crisis Comics! ^
This comic was fun to read not to mention it was the countdown to infinite crisis. This comic was the sold-out story when it came out I believe. The part were superman and wonder woman fight shows who is the strongest DC charcter and wonder woman kills max lord by breaking his neck. This comic shows that superman was taken over maxwell lord and convincing that brainiac, darkseid, and ruin are threatning his loved ones, but turns out he's almost killing batman.I didn't know batman could take it when superman heat visioned him and that could nearly kill him.Even though superman's the powerfulest hero and can't be killed, sometimes he can be under someone's control. It almost fits with infinite crisis stuff.I'm not sure if this was the sold-out story, but I'm sure it is.This comic is highly recommended.
