An excellent product for the gamer or casual reader alike This book is an excellent resource for the Warhammer gamer and the casual reader of the genre. It's description of the Battle of Hel Fen far and away exceeds that of the novelization and provided insight into the tactics involved that would be of benefit to the table top gamer.
Great Work Written from the perspective of a retired but still battle hungry Grand Marshall of the Empire, this book takes a look at some significant battles that occur in Warhammer lore.
It features notable battles with the vampire counts, Sigmar's epic battle against orks, the siege of Kieslev by Chaos forces and a couple others that were less notable (at least to me!).
The art is good but the real substance is in the writting. The description of forces, events leading up to the battles, and the battle itself are great. Overall, a great book and it's got great ending that I won't give away.
