The Prower of Now Prow of Now is one of the best books that I seen, and is added to my collection. Thanks to Amazon I was able to purchase it for myself to keep.
Watch Your Mind and Stop Seeking This audiobook was amazing to listen to. Tolle's mellow voice makes it easy to absorb the spiritual wisdom being conveyed that challenges us to have a deeper self-understanding not based on that which is superficial but rather the unchangeing. Spiritual seekers would do well to read or listen to this book.
Enlightening and provoking! I think it would be inappropriate to say this book "made me think" because the point it to get you to stop thinking so much. It was difficult to get through the beginning of the book (very slow) but once I was into it, I couldn't put it down and I wanted more. I'm now reading "the new earth" by the same author.
In the Here and Now Over the years I have read many books by different authors on spirituality and how to "obtain" enlightenment. This book has left me breathless in it's simplicity, beauty and profound sense of having finally reached understanding of how enlightenment is achieved.
Eckhart Tolle is a gifted teacher, explaining otherwise complex theories in an authorative but easy to understand way. Attaching our lives to past and present is indeed the slip up we all tend to make; sometimes regretting past events and nearly always anticipating future possibilities. Well, this book/man will teach you to accept what is. Focus on what is, in the here and now, and everything else will fall into place. Highly recommended.
