this is a pretty nice item esp for a pre teen this is a nice kit in the form of a hard back book. when you open it up the left side has a plastic covering and within are several tubes of paint and brushes, eraser and a pencil. the right side contains a drawing/painting pad of paper and in front of that is the book itself which actually has the appearance of a small comic book. it has some pretty neat stuff to draw and depicts the stages nicely. it was worth it for sure for my 11 year old nephew. its a cool little kit.
