I like boys who like other boys LOVE MODE Volume 7: (Yaoi) (Love Mode) I have thoroughly enjoyed this series! Even when the stories don't directly involve Kiichi, Reiji, and Naoya it's awesome. In this volume we meet Katsuki and learn a bit more about Jin. Jin's seemingly cruel lessons for Katsuki may not be so cruel...Does Jin actually have feelings for the younger man? Rin and Ian's story is actually quite cute. With Ian chasing Rin and not getting him, since he "rejected" Rin first. Ah love at B&B what's a boy to do.
There's a nice side story about Reiji's birthday at the end. I think readers of this series will enjoy what volume 7 has to offer...on to the biseinen!
Good stories about B&B Like Volume 3 it deals with B&B and is essentially two stories, Ian/Rin and Jin/Katsuki. It had good interaction and an explicit scene but this volume didn't hold my attention as the previous two (5 & 6). It's probably more of my preference because I am more interested in the Aoe brothers (though they do make a few appearances). There was a 2-year chronology in the back to explain how events fit, like the bonus story in Volume 7 was before the two main stories. In all I would say to get the volume if you want keep your set complete.
A delightful interlude! Vol 7 provides a good break with 2 delighful and entertaining stories on the boys from Reiji's B&B club. There is the sweet uke, Rin, and his younger successful model, Ian. Theirs is one light, cute and sweet love. The broken windows and Reiji's scowling face is so funny.
The second story is on Jin, B&B's suave hunk, and a much younger gigolo, Katsuki. Their story is amusing but bittersweet and a trifle sad as Katsuki sets out to win this gorgeous hunk's heart. An impossible task as Jin has long given his heart to one violet eyed foreign prince. Hot sex here. And of ofcourse Kiichi is always there to help. I hope the writer gives us a satisfying conclusion to Jin's love story in future volumes.
And what better way to end this volume than the bonus story on Reiji's birthday which is simply priceless. This may be short but it is so emotional and moving.
And the depicting of Naoya as Snow White and Red Riding Hood, under Kiichi's influence is so funny.
