One of the most popular artists working in the YAOI/BL genre of gay-themed manga for more mature readers, C. J. Michalski here offers a half dozen related stories about love. Typical is the title story, a romantic comedy about the half-human, half-cupid Tsubasa. In order to progress to full cupid, he must unite a couple. However, the target is an evil man named Norimasa, who shows no love for anyone. By accident, Tusbasa makes himself Norimasa’s love match. Tsubasa and Norimasa are attracted to each other, but is this cupid magic or true love? Both sexy and comedic, the stories in Delivery Cupid appeal to a broad range of adult manga readers.
Cute This book was pretty cute with a lot of really adorable boys. There's nothing explicit (meaning that everything is hidden during the sex scenes). Nonetheless, they are pretty hot. This is pretty much a very average yaoi, although the some of the stories are creative.
Very cute! I picked this story up after a self-imposed ban of yaoi & BL titles. (After a while they all seem the same!) I'm glad I chose this title. The characters are adorable, the romances are sweet, the artwork is beautiful and the sex is actually pretty well done in that it's neither too hard core or over the top.
Others here have described the short stories better, so I'll skip the descriptions. I will say, however, that all of the stories focus around the help of a central (but hidden) character of God. The stories run from a little risque to incredibly sweet.
Would I recommend it? I would, but only to my older BL/yaoi friends. Anyone else may not get into it or be too young. There's some graphic scenes in the manga. While I've seen scenes that are more graphic, it's still too risque for anyone under 18.
Short but Sweet This is a beautiful book with 6 different storys which I thought were too short. Some of it made me want to read more of it cause it was so good. Some of it not so much. The art work was O.K.
The first story was Delivery Cupid and I would rate that one as a 3/5.
There was nothing wrong with the story line but I just didn't like the guy the angel fell in love with.
The second story was Love Beam! and I'd give it a 4/5.
This was a great story about a guy who is in love with the most popualar guy in school. The sex was short in this one but it was still good.
The third story was called Cinderfella: A Fairy Tale and I'd give it a 5/5
This was a great story that I thought was pretty funny. It's one of those things that you just wish could happen to you.
The fourth story was called With You Forever and I'd give it a 8/5
This was the sweetest story and it made me cry. I don't want to spoil it for you but it's about an angel of death who falls in love with a human and as you all know that is forbidden. There is more to it but I can't say.
The fifith is called Ai Scream and I'd give it a 4/5.
I thought the title was cute because as any anime fan knows Ai is the japanese word for love and the story goes with it. I was melting with the sex in this story. You have to read to story to get that.
The last story was called Under the Star Night and I'd give it a 5/5.
This was the second best story in the book even though it had no sex. I just thought what Tetsuya did for Ryo was sweet.
Over all this is a great book and I was glad I got it. There was two afterward (Well one Delivery cupid afterward and one afterword (NOT A TYPO) but this weren't important enough to talk about.
I was pleased I really wasn't too big on the first story, the one that the book is named after, but there's two or there stories inside of it that I'm utterly in love with. My most favorite is probably about a young boy named Kazuki, who's grown up mostly in a hospital, and he meets Kurou, who later turns out to be the Black Angel- or the one who guides the dead to heaven. They end up falling in love, regardless of circumstances.
Most of the stories aren't explicit, but that helps to generate a sense of reality to it. I'm very much pleased with it.
wat a absalutly charming novel very good stories ,great animation , rather mind blowen in sum scenes ,but a perfect read , i absalutly reccomend it
