Product Description: Beware all undead minions and other variegated doers of badness! Rouse up trouble with the honest folks of Lonely Street and it's the Goon you'll answer to! Robot or alien, werewolf or vampire, zombie or gorilla (or zombie-gorilla), it makes no difference to the Goon - he'll serve you up a mouthful of broken teeth right quick, as evidenced by the fine tales collected in this fine volume - the third in the ever-expanding line chronicling the triumphs and tragedies of the lone man brave enough to stand against the Zombie Priest and his ghoulish army of ... um ... ghouls. This volume also includes a very special guest appearance by Hellboy co-written and drawn by award-winning Hellboy creator, Mike Mignola!
Nameless, Buzzard, Hell Boy...and Vampires! Four more solid and whacked out tales by Eric Powell, with a guest appearance by Hell Boy. I have never looked at a Hell Boy Graphic Novel and only know it from the movies but I certainly appreciated the surreal approach of letting him pop in on the Goon's little corner of this twisted universe. I generally have been entertained by most of the Goon's exploits thus far but those with Buzzard are always highly enjoyable. I just love that part of the Goon pantheon. The final story in this tome, about effete psuedo vamps and one real deal was both hilarious and somewhat...gasp!...touching, in its own crazy way. Overall another Goon volume that does not disapoint.
