Product Description: Wormwood is the anti-Christ, no way around it, his dad is Satan and his demonic powers help him fit right into New York. His best friend is Jesus, who is a black, mentally-challenged man that just isn't performing many miracles these days. The pesky Armageddon is coming right up, and it doesn't look like Pope Jacko is going to be any help in stopping it.
My favorite series this year. If you enjoy the over the top violence and all around dirtiness of Garth Ennis' work in "Preacher" and "The Boys" then you will feet right at home reading "Chronicles of Wormwood".
Danny Wormwood is a high hollywood executive. He's also the anti-christ. His father is the devil and he refuses to play any part in the upcoming apocolypse. His best friend is a black Jesus and he lives with a talking rabbit who convinces Star Wars nerds to kill themselves.
The story is really over the top and a lot of fun. Ennis has a way of making things larger than life but he in Wormwood he really keeps the characters very human. Really a lot of fun and the art is fantastic. This was my favorite series in 2007.
