The best of the series! This book is my favorite of the Dragonball Z books I have read so far. It has one of the best battles in all of the series as Vegeta and Goku test each others limits. Each time Vegeta seems to be beaten he comes back from the dead. This is probably the first truly great battle of the series. Finally, vegeta is defeated when Gohan transforms into a giant ape and then falls on him. You should definitely buy the first four books of the series as they set the stage for the adventures to come.
