If you love Vaughn Bode This book is good if you already own other works by Vaughn Bode and love them. The strips in this book are short individual works. Many of the strips in here were created as advertisments for a record label. If you are already a collector of Bode's work get this book, otherwise I'd get Junkwaffle, Cheech Wizard, Schizophrenia, or Deadbone.
You have to be a collector.... Okay, so I actually LOVE this book. But, that's because I'm a collector. Anytime a new collection of Vaughn's work comes out, I've not much choice BUT to love it.
This particular book collects a lot of the random strips, advertisements, and unfinished works Vaughn had kicking around. Pretty much everything that hadn't already been put into one of the previous collections (all of which are far superior). Sadly, this book comes off as an excuse to make some more money off the late, great, cartoon guru.
But, I'm okay with that. There's still plently to enjoy. My particular favorites being the four page "lizard zen" section and "the Amorous Adventures of Puck" (the only previously unpublished material in this volume)
If you are NOT a collector - BECOME ONE! (just kidding). Go get some of his stuff and you just might become one, though.
If you're a first timer, try starting with one of the "Erotica" books or the first "Cheech Wizard" collection.
