Something to think about Rev. Paula T. Webb, Interfaith Minister, explores in simple terms the difficulties that many couples face in their relationships in her book Creating Perfect Relationships. She provides very positive suggestions how to get along with your partner. It said that the illness of contemporary societies is the fact that man although lives surrounded by multitude of people he finds himself alone and inadequate to establish a solid and long term relationships. Here is a workbook in which a person can self-analyze how to improve the relationship with his/her partner. The inability to maintain a healthy relationship can also indicate social maladjustments, because whatever we see outside or see in other people is the projections of our own shortcomings based on the prejudices and biases that we held in your subconscious mind. Consequently, success in life can be measured how well we get along with other people in all areas of our life. It is recommended the lecture of this workbook. Get Your Pen Ready! In "Creating Perfect Relationships," author Paula Webb identifies six critical areas that, when approached consciously and compassionately, can enhance almost any union. The real brilliance of this book, however, is not in what Paula has written . . . but in what you will write. You see, each chapter includes journaling pages that ask questions of you that are helpful and healing and very well asked.
"What do I think it means to have a perfect relationship?" "What do I think my partner thinks it means to have a perfect relationship?" "When was the last time we talked about it?" "Or have we ever talked about it?" "And if not, why not?" Along with Paula's wonderful insights and examples, it is your response to questions like these that will provide the answers you need to create the perfect relationships you are seeking.
Steven Lane Taylor, author of Row, Row, Row Your Boat: A Guide For Living Life In The Divine Flow
Practical applications for every day in life. Just like the author's other books, she has put together a short and precise, in my opinion, handbook for understanding how to get what you want in your life.
She admits not being perfect herself (what a novelty in self-help books!), and yet finds no embarrassment of shame in it. Something that those of us in the therapy field can take lessons from, myself included. Rather, she revels in learning what makes herself tick, and puts that new-found knowledge to use in her own relationships, as well as those who seek her counseling. The examples she provides are real, and I know I could see myself and my own clients in some of them as well. The ideas and conclusions she comes to through her own awarenesses are simple, easy to understand, and practical for anyone's life.
I found this book refreshing and crisp ~ and most timely and useful for today's relationships. I am a fan of her work, but more to the point, I will be using her simple and elegant ideas in my own work as a therapist, and as someone new to the trading industry.
You will love this book! Finally, a book without reproach, a book without telling you what you "need" to do! Author Webb shows us, through real life examples, just how hard it is to create, and just as importantly, maintain a great relationship. It is apparent that Webb is also speaking from personal experience (there are several examples of her own life included), and she is not embarrassed to admit when she was less than nice to others. In her analogies, you will find parts of yourself and those around you, which will help you realize that everyone has the same fears, hopes and desires. And also, that it just takes a bit of listening and self-understanding to create what you want. A must read for anyone considering a new relationship, or contemplating ending one ~ read this first!
Learn from someone who's been there It is apparent to me that Ms. Webb has been "in the trenches" with the rest of us, when it comes to relationships. No in-your-face telling you what to do, just plain and simple ideas and suggestions to help you think about where you want your relationships to go. She helps you see how you can be in control and manage your life. Thanks!
