Good strategies, but.... ^ I found the guide hard to use due to its formating, and bizarre decision to use colored inks in a small typeface on either colored or black bacgrounds. That said, this guide is vital for meeting some of the S.Link requests--namely, Margaret's. I just wish the print had been a bit bigger, the type clearer, and the book itself bigger. The Guide is about the size of your average manga, but much thinner. It doesn't lie open without something to hold down the pages, which can be annoying when you want to consult the guide during a tricky area.
Almost perfect guide. ^ This is an excellent guide. It comes in a nice compact size (dvd case size, like most double jump guides), and can fit nicely into your dvd/game racks or shelves. But this is only a minor positive. It is a very detailed guide, which includes guides to maxing your social links, strategies, schedules, etc. Which is what you can come to expect from a double jump guide. The only main gripe I had about this guide is that I couldn't seem to find a good persona fusion chart in it, so I found myself getting up to check my computer for fusion charts (which is why I bought this guide, so I could stop reading a FAQ before doing any minor detail in the game, hence sitting on a computer through out playing the game). I also expected more from the guide like at least half a page dedicated to a persona, listing it's bio, fusion recipes to make the persona, strengths, weaknesses, etc like most good double jump guides. Apart from that it is worth the money, especially if you don't want to sit by a computer all day following social link maxing faqs.
Did what it needed to do ^ I read alot of reviews before actually purchasing the product. there were alot of complaints about typos and other spelling mistakes. After receiving my copy of the guide i have to say that the complaints about the grammar and spelling are uncalled for. There are instances in which paragraphs are repeated but other than that the guide itself does everything it is supposed to. It properly shows you enemy weaknesses, What s.links are available each day, all of the quests and how to complete them, the different persona's that are obtainable, It also keeps the story spoiler free until the moment you discover the true/normal ending. The guide helped me balance my time to achieve max social link with the other characters as well as gave me an idea of how strong i needed to be per boss fight. If you just need a general idea about the game, the shadow weaknesses, how to solve all the quests and are just looking to see all the little hidden easter eggs. Then i would definetly recommend getting this guide.
Disappointing ^ For the most part the info is correct but i had to double check online to make sure since in the very first boss battle it said to make archangel but the instructions were all wrong and as i went further threw the game. It could have given more detail on what S.Link descisions were best and exactly how many times you have to increase your stats like courage and dilligence before they go up a level. Its all pretty much one big summery and the parts of the book i used the most was the monthly schedual breakdown in the beginning of each month.
Great Guide ^ Great guide for people who like me are new to the series, some errors but overall covers everything thoroughly.
