Product Description: The first Dark Arts Books release is a compilation of 12 "new and used" horror stories by four Chicago authors: Jay Bonansinga, Bill Breedlove, John Everson , and Martin Mundt. This volume, featuring an introduction by another Chicago horror veteran, Mort Castle, was released at the World Horror Convention in San Francisco in May 2006.
Best Candy Ever John Everson is the best author ever. This book is full of twisted stories that will have your squirming for more. I purchased the book because of Everson. However, I was pleasantly rewarded by the other tales. Great collection.
Don't bother This is something I might have liked when I was about 12 years old but not anything really challenging or substantial in material. plot or writing.
Nothing but winners in this book I'm a huge fan of Martin Mundt and Bill Breedlove, and their stories are the reason why I bought this book, but I'm happy to have made the acquaintance of John Everson and Jay Bonansinga in these same pages, they're both original and entertaining horror writers I'll be looking for more of in the future. There's nothing but top quality fiction in this little book, folks. Five stars for sure. Get it while you can!
Fantastic collection of stories by 4 awesome authors!!! I really enjoyed the selections in this paperback and highly recommend that you purchase a copy, the standouts for me were the tales by Martin Mundt, this author is seriously twisted. He's like a totally serious version of Jeff Strand. Buy it, you won't regret it.
Troy :-)
Original, twisted, funny and entertaining -- what more could you want? It takes some imagination to write fiction. It takes something extraordinary to produce a book of short stories with the originality that these authors have shown. They pull things out of the black top hat that the magician didn't even know was there. Completely twisted, often so funny I laughed out loud in an empty room and always entertaining, you cannot pass this book up. I'm on Amazon ordering more of this book to share my "find" with my friends.
