Product Description: Is this the work of a visual genius or a visionary madman? Or both? Jeffery Scott is a photographic liar. The stunning and hyper-realistic photography presented here is not captured in real time, but through a laborious process of manipulation. Each picture represents an average of fifty hours of meticulous work in which elements are assembled from dozens of images to construct the combined whole. Mr. Scott conjures amazing characters, environments and situations that thoroughly blur the line between the real and the imagined. Layer upon layer of information reveals in-depth philosophies, concepts and stories. Thought-provoking titles communicate ideas between artist and viewer. This is a stunning introduction to deep emotive and contemplative realms.
A true master. ^ To answer your question 1019 simply stands for JS (J=10 S=19). to whoever is thinking about getting this book...JUST DO IT !!! Jeff is on a level of its own. If you're reading this Jeff know that I am still amazed at how you drink water. And yes, I got it.thanks for Cali.

Wonderful ^ I was not expecting this much from this book. Quite different and quite artistic, and at some point, quite dark. Some of the nicest uses of photoshop I have ever seen. As with most photography books, it is not particularly easy to describe. Some of the shots are similar to the cover, in the sense that you have a photographic array of an attractive woman with some parts of her body "changed" (You have to love photoshop) by mechanical parts. Others make a point with potentially less retouching. My particular favorite is "Futility Stands Against the Inevitable."
Now, there are two things that I should say about this book. One, some of the shots are VERY dark, and a few, quite bloody, just in case you happen to be sensitive in that respect. Second, if somebody knows what is the photographer's fixation with the number 1019, please, let me know! I'm still puzzled about it.
creative visions-the future is now ^ great use of a computer, giving real pictures of people a H.G. giger sort of apperance. these creation express feelings about the indutrial age and how it has turned people into sort of machine within a machine. truth lies within the illusions presented in this book. some black and white, some color images. mixing the old and the new for a different look at the reality of our place in a fake mechanical world in which we live.
Great surreal Book ^ I baught this book cause I was looking for surreal photos that included beautiful girls and some fashion.
