Interesting Look Beneath the Great Lake I saw this book at a bookstore in Traverse City, MI and finally found it here on Amazon.com. The drawings are simple, but the information about what lies beneath the Great Lakes is interesting. Having grown up in Michigan, I was not aware of many of these facts. While the book will appeal to younger readers due to the artwork, the simple facts about the lakes will be interesing to adults as well. I researched some of the facts (like the meteor crater on the bottom of one of the Lakes) and found scientific research supporting the claims made in the book.
